Cibola

The Seven Cities of Gold were never found. A match-3 about looking anyway — one thousand levels across twenty-five expeditions, each ending in a relic you carry out of the dark.

Field notes

What it is

1000 levels

Generated rather than hand-placed, so the game is deep without being padded — and every level is different from the one before it.

All of them solvable

A solver plays every level hundreds of times before it ships. If it can't finish one, that level never reaches you. Difficulty is measured, not guessed at.

25 expeditions

Each chapter is one site — a sunken cenote, a serpent stair, an ash vault — and each ends with a relic recovered and catalogued.

Eight kinds of puzzle

Score, collect, clear, break, escort, rescue, race the clock, and face a guardian at the end of every chapter.

A hint when you want one

The same solver that validates the level can show you a move. It costs nothing and never asks you to watch anything first.

Small and quick

Built natively, so it opens fast, runs smoothly, and doesn't take a meaningful bite out of your phone.

Standing orders

What it isn't

Ads you can switch off

Play carries ads between levels — never during one. One purchase removes them permanently.

Lives, and ways around them

Play is paced by five lives, one back every forty-five minutes, plus a daily top-up. Run out and you can wait, watch a short video, or spend gold on a refill.

No content held back

Every chapter is free. The purchase buys quiet, not access — no part of the story, and no part of the ending, is behind it.

Nothing that identifies you

No accounts, no servers, and nothing recorded that says who you are. The ad network sees what ad networks see, and you can opt out of tracking when iOS asks.

The whole game is free. All twenty-five chapters, all thousand levels, all the way to Cibola — no chapter is held back and no ending is sold. Play is supported by ads between levels and paced by lives that refill over time. One purchase removes the ads for good. Everything else — gold, tools, refills — can be earned by playing or bought if you would rather not wait.

Cibola's own policies

Every game and app we ship has its own privacy policy and terms, written for what that product actually does rather than for the company in general. Cibola's cover the advertising, the in-app purchases, the gold, Game Center, and what the game records about how it is played.

The company-wide privacy policy and terms of use cover Makai Technologies and this website. Where the two overlap for Cibola, Cibola's govern.
